Who we are
Housofai Finance is a loan referral service. We help you compare lenders and pass your application to the bank, NBFC or housing finance company you choose. We do not lend money. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, who sees it, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
Your name, mobile number, city, the loan you need and its amount, employment type, monthly income, existing EMIs, credit-score range if you tell us, whether you have security for a secured loan, and our messages and call notes with you. Documents are collected only through a secure link, and only those the lender requires.
Why we use it
Only to understand your loan requirement, find lenders that fit your profile, contact you by call, WhatsApp or SMS about suitable offers, and pass your application to the lender you choose. Automated assistants, including AI on WhatsApp and phone, may ask the first questions. A person reviews your case before it reaches any lender.
Who sees it
Our loan experts and the lending partner's team working on your file; verified partner advisers serving your city or loan type; and, if you came through a referral partner, that partner sees only your first name, loan type and status, never your phone number or documents. Staff and partners access data through individual logins, and actions are logged. We never sell your data for unrelated marketing.
What we never do
We never charge you a fee, never ask for OTPs, PINs, CVVs, passwords or remote-access apps, and never promise approval.
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months after your last interaction, or less if you withdraw consent, unless a lender or the law requires longer.
Your rights
Withdraw consent anytime by replying STOP on WhatsApp or by email. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data; we act within 7 working days.
Grievances
Email our grievance officer. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
